Default the cost of doing busness

got my much anticipated bill from the state of Illinois from my run threw the outskirts of Chicago this summer. now this could have been avoided had I fallowed the GPS from the start and had I corrected that setting that was changed during a up grade. I have no idea how it got put on shortest rout. but trust me that is not the setting you want towing a car threw the burbs.
now that last one that $1.65 exact change only and the first one I-pass only I was trapped on. i was not about to toss a 100 dollar bill in that basket not that it would have worked and I don't have a I-pass. remember they are not needed were I live. but live and learn we all pay for our education someway. I just marvel at the number of people that do this crap on a daily basis and wounder why. glad it not me

That is what I call an expensive learning experience.

It's not us, it's those OTHER scammers out there you have to worry about.

how true it is. one must maintain the illusion of security. the fault lies in relying on technology to began with. my we are out in Il. navigator has had a system malfunction and is unable to retrieve info, so I winged it instead of fallowing the GPS right off. had I gone the way it wanted me to I could have crossed 39 in a spot I could see it, taken it down to 80. then let the GPS take me off 80 to our meeting place. so I got tagged a extra 80 bucks for my side tour. but really who has $1.65 in change to toss in the bin.

My scorecard so far has been one debit/credit card hack and got hit for about a hundred dollars three years ago.

The latest is the porn shakedown scam. I get an average of one per week demanding money in Bitcoin to not "out" me. https://www.wcpo.com/money/consumer/...-your-password

If they were tracking me they would be pretty bored with my porn. Pro-car porn, hot rod porn (Jalopy Journal, Roadkill, 24 Hours of Lemons) Antique radios and a couple of firearms forums. Oh, and "ruin porn" on Zillow too.

I did lock down my FB so only recognized friends can 'view" me, did that for unrelated reasons.

It really is pretty sad we have to do this though. We have to be vigilant.
