Rear Load Door Power Contact (77 M&M Lifeliner)

Looking for a bit of advice....there is a spring loaded power contact switch which delivers 12+ (switched) to the exhaust fan mounted inside the rear load door. I have repaired it once (which lasted years) and I am sure I can fix it again...

BUT.... if I could replace it...I would be good with that too....

Just putting it out there in anyone has any advice...maybe one sitting on a shelf, manufacturers name ???

That looks like the switch that GM used on station wagons of the 1960's to deliver power to the back up lights, when the lights were mounted in the door.

Any contact switch would work. But the big problem is the power draw from the blower. A shim under it might be the answer to your problem To get more contack. Along with proper adjust ment on the door.

Switch

Do a search for street rod door jam contact switches. I think most are 2 but you might find a one contact style.
