so not the water down the thread on Commercial wheels. here is a just for fun comparison of a set of GM wheels and one aftermarket one, along with the CC . I did not do a accurate measurement on them just compared the inner hole off the floor with each of them with a tire on and blown up. I found the difference in the CC wheels off the 69 and the aftermarket one next to the GM ones are so close to call them the same. the 69 wheel has a 890x15 on it the others have a 235 x 15. still the spacing off the floor is the same. so it would ride on the car in the same spot and the spacing to the frame on the inside would be the same. outside may be different if the rims are a different with but I'm to lazy to brake them down to see. the big thing is the load rating of the original 890x15. it is 2500 lb at 40 psi. for the tire on the 69 MM ambulance. the same tire with the white wall is on the 72 seville.
the replacement tire for the 69 are Kelley extra load 235 x 15 they are rated at 2133 lb at 41 psi so if your tires are rated at almost a ton less what are the welded wheels used on the 75 cars rated at? would they hold as much as a rusty heavy duty wheel? this set of GM wheels are Hollanders number 93
7 s they are stamped k10 the after marked one has no stamp and the center is different but the spacing is the same. the disadvantage in the bias ply tires it of course the weight you need to balance them but the radicals have that self destruct feature
