Default Montana photos

Terry Lange forwarded me the photos he took of this 1972 Superior Cadillac 51-inch ambulance when it was in Montana. He gave me permission to post them here.

Can't believe I bought it. I was trying so hard to look away but this thing just kept staring back at me like a lost puppy. I really can't wait to bring it back to its former glory. This guy must have got it fresh out of service when it was traded in at ringdahls. The title is dated 1987. The owner had died and his two sisters were selling the car. They were very nice people and were happy that the car went to a good home. Luckily, there is quite a bit of hardware and trim lying in the back. First thing I did when I got home was chucked the bench seat in the rear and tore out his homemade interior. Looks better as a shell. Should be an interesting project. You can tell the car had been garaged most it's life. The orange paint still shines. The car actually looks much better when it was pulled out into the sunlight.

Thank God, another one saved, and staying right here in the U.S. where it was bred, born, built, bought, and beat-up. And praise be, not snatched by a bunch of foreigners.

Most of the Europeans really aren't overly interested in the '65 and newer cars anyway, unless it is a convertible.

it is surprising what a wash job and clean out will do for a car.
