Default A Milwaukee Thank You

Is this a great club or what?! Those of you who know me know that I am as into model railroading as I am into professional cars. Those who really know me know that within my model railroading hobby I enjoy collecting brewery refrigerator cars. Well I received this in today's mail from a fellow PCS member who said he had such a good time in Milwaukee that he wanted to give me a tangible token of his appreciation. Needless to say, I am completely thrilled by this gesture and the car will be a most honored addition to my model railroad! This member asked not to be publicly named to prevent being bombed with requests for custom work, but I figured there's no harm in showing you all what he created for me. Believe me, the car looks much better in person than it does in this photo, and to the person who sent me this, allow me to give you my public thanks once again!

As you know, I am NOT a train fan, but this very cool and even I would proudly display this on my shelf.
What a great token of appreciation someone gave you!! (I bet no other international host received anything like this before)
You did a great job, and Im glad I was able to attend!

Speaking of Milwaukee thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I should have passed along to all my fellow PCS members the fact that within weeks of the Milwaukee meet, I received a letter from the Milwaukee Fire Historical Society thanking us for our visit and for our combined generous donation. The Milwaukee Light Engineering Society, the group that hosted us for the Friday evening miniature train rides, also sent me a copy of their September newsletter, which included a small write-up on our visit along with a few photographs. Their write-up expressed their thanks for our visit and welcomed us back anytime we're in the area.

Along these same lines, I truly thank each and every one of you for your support and attendance in Milwaukee. As I said at the banquet, I could have organized the best meet in the world, but it wouldn't have been anything if no one had shown up. So again, my thanks to you as well!
