Kandy had a eye appointment in the big city yesterday so we stopped in to pick up our quarter glass from Slime's Glass and some clear shelf paper. now the fun begins as we make the etchings on them. I don't have the necessary stuff to do the acid etch so we will do the sand blasting. more pictures to fallow

on this set they were sand blasted by Armbruster. so this is the way I did them. first get the glass unwrapped and looks like rattling around in the truck all day in Rapid did not hurt them any. cut a piece of the shelf paper big enough to over hang all sides. place the new glass over the old one and wrap them so they don't move. then we can use this old imported drawing set and the yard stick to trace out the lines in the paper. then remove anything we don't want to sand blast. etch the exposed class as even as you can with out carving into it. we are used a 80 grit medium. blow off the excess and pull the shelf paper off. flip the old glass over and start on the other. soon you have your new glass etched ready to put in. we have less then 200 in the tool, a 1/2 pound of medium, shelf paper and the glass. the glass has gone up some. I payed 150 for the two of them
