here is all I know. I received 2 place longest distance driven with the 75 Stageway. Ron D got second place with the 70 stoner and Brendon M. received first place best in show and medics choice for his 63 superior road rescuer.
you can tell what I payed attention to. John and patty got the CLC award for the most points scored buy a Cadillac or La sally. how you ask can a car get the most points and not receive the best in show. John has removed this car from that after having received a couple of them.they have as perfect a car as there is in the PCS and just enjoy driving and showing it. now there is a man with class. ![]()

Kudos to John for removing his car from winning multiple awards every year.
The first time I ever had a car judged at a PCS meet was in 2004 in Daytona. My limo won first place and I was so thrilled and surprised. I have never had a car judged again since I want others to be able to have the same experience. Many people have nice cars and deserve to win something. I guess the judging is different now in that you don't actually compete against the other cars but compete with a points total. [except in the case of BOS] I think that is nice. I figure that levels the playing field for those of us with average cars who can't afford to throw $100,000 at a pro-car. [not that there's anything wrong with that!] |

Personally, I really do not like the new judging system. In my opinion, it degrades getting an award, I mean hell, everybody got one. Awards should be reserved for the best, not for every car judged. You know that I love my 68, but it was not deserving of any awards, nor did I want one, I was just happy to have it in Gettysburg and give people a chance to see it. Let's go back to the old judging system, PLEASE!!
