state of the art ambulance in 1974

Oh boy does that bring back memories, worked in one of the first ones issused by the province, what a change from the bonnevilles to these, and P.S the first ones had manual steering, believe that's Bob Scott from Woodbridge, who went on to Toronto EMS ,but his service was the first on the scene of an Air Canada jet crash north of Toronto with the loss of over 100 lives? and as a licenced funeral director he was tasked with morgue duties for the victms, and ended up with a mass funeral as many were not able to be identified, some of this may be vague ,but when it happened yours truly was dispatching and because of the strength of our radio tower was an ear witness to it unfolding, one Sunday morning I will never forget, thanks for the post.
