With the inside good you can spend that money on the AC. It is a combo so worth saving. The garbage on the out side will disappear when you strip off the old paint to repaint.

Would the removable panels be the same on a Crown? The 69 is missing them would be neat to find a pair.

I, personally, like the Sovereigns fully as well as the Royales.
