'64 Superior Pontiac Ambulance in Rapid City

not my name but some interest I have not seen the car and as the add says it doesn't run. I can check it out tomorrow and report back

no not yet I did put a offer on it just encase it doesn't sell on e-bay the man that has posted the add is not the owner but he is selling it on consignment. did get to look it over and was given a story. the story is the man that owns it has never hear it run it has not run in a long time but was to have been stationed at the air base just out side of rapid and was stored out side at the air and space museum? that being said the tags on it expired in august. so either it had to be licensed to be sitting were it was or? but it is complete as pictured, only one molding damaged, all wheel covers in place and it's a combo with out rollers. interior was nice except for water damage around the rear door on the cardboard panels, one cut up from opening the back hatch. the rear molding on it is missing leaving a sharp point to cut away. light siren a 28 are all wired and to be working. no battery in the car, no puddles under the car. the engine is complete and not apart. missing the factory air cleaner and has a after market chrome plate on it. glass is all good tires are holding air. lots of dust but not a lot of oil. looking under the hood I was not sure it was a poncho. on air lines to the heater front and back are off. it has the mother of pearl flooring in rough shape. rust lower fenders and dog legs with one original dent and rust right quarter. looks to be factory paint. in 50 year old condition. the hood wont close. but all 5 doors did here are the pictures I took. Kandy will not allow me to get the Eldorado. but for the money looks to be the best buy on the lot.

here is the front row and the parting shot. the fill is so steep on the back side that one step off and you 12 feet down heading fast for 20. now remember those dimples don't hurt the running of them none and they make for a cheaper car.

looked at the pictures again that old flat bed is either a dodge or a IHC. you know how old trucks are they are all fords.

I Cadillac like the 1962 Cadillac 2 door hardtop. Did you happen to notice if it had bucket seats in it? Does it look as good in person, as it does in the picture?

You're selling, Paul........... not buying. Remember??

I can look and dream.. besides, I have my eye on a "whale" of an ambulance, and I don't have room for two. It is almost as weird looking as the Eureka that Nick purchased, but a few years older.
PS... don't tell Sandy............

Paul, from what I have heard you could hide it in your garage and she won't notice it's there! Of course you might have to do some re-arranging first. :D :p :)

he has had that caddy for awhile now. i did not look it over will but it has at least had a repaint. can't tell if it was buckets or a bench. the square tops say bench. the Eldorado was full loaded with leather and buckets they would take a little south of the advertised price. it's on consignment with only the little rust creping out under the edges of the top. but they were one of those 10mpg cars
