Tres cool example!! Looks to be in beautiful condition.
The Mark 7 was a pressure cycle ventilator that dates back to the late 50's, first model used in 1957. Bird's were produced into the 1980's with the Mark 14 produced in the late at that point. I have never seen one in the original box, and suspect it is an early model (+++). They were pressure as opposed to volume of air delivery designed, and so theoretically easier to use by individuals not conversant in depth to supportive ventilation and easy to set the controls.
They were stocked on the ambulances in Calgary in the early 70's, but not of practical value, as of no value when CPR is being delivered.

Radio ID

Another Question , Era this was used .Value? Thanks

Dan,
Check eBay completed auctions to get the best idea on value on the Motorola radio components value. There are always lots of them on there.

We were using that radio out here into the 90s.when i left the service in 98 it was the only radio in both of the ambulances as it was the main state radio system. The are at low band unit that required a high spot for the antennas to work will.

The Bird Mark 7's are on eBay, most have the box. Not a ton of sales - you can just run a search for prices. Hospitals ordered these and many did not actually use IPPV. I might be interested myself at right price.

The E&J is missing the case/etc. Top ceiling of $50 or less.
