superier water valve

so the water valve on the 67 after we got it loosened up leaked. lets not toss it before we take it apart and see. maybe we can fix it. as you can see they used a diaphragm peened to the plunger to control the water flow. push the plunger in and it closed the hole. pull it out and water flows down the hose and not the inner fender. we could do O rings on the back but I don't know if there is enough space to put one on the front.

I have had a couple of valves rebuilt for my 1950 Packard by Jim Tucker, (760) 749-3488, in Valley Center, CA. He done a great job using high-tech modern materials. I recommend him highly.
