Default Oktoberfest In Acme, Indiana on Saturday Oct 5th.

The Indiana Chapter of the Professional Car Society invites you to Oktoberfest 2019 - In Memory of Timothy C. Duckworth

Featured artists: Seamus Gethicker & Richie Gregory

PCS member Jon Appleton will be hosting us on Saturday October 5, 2019 in Acme, IN. Follow the signs once reaching Acme. Times and locations are as follows:

11:00 a.m.
St. Paul Lutheran Church/Borchers Chapel Recital on the Reuter Opus 711 pipe organ.

Immediately following the Borchers' recital we will have the usual car caravan to Acme for lunch!

12:00 noon to 1:30
Lunch at the new "Acme Automobile Institute - CAR BARN & Hammond Organ showplace" in Acme, located on the lane going up to the Acme Organ Institute. The usual pitch in with traditional Bavarian Brats & table service provided. Side dishes & desserts are MOST welcome!!!!

This year trying something new with the brand new "Car Barn".. which will have table seating for everyone, with open consoles on the various Hammond and "MINI" Reuter organs in the new barn.

After lunch a short 1/4 mile walk from the "Car Barn" up to the Acme Organ Institute for the "BIG" Concert… rides will be provided for those that need special assistance.
1:30 Oktoberfest Concert:

The 2019 Oktoberfest Concert this year is to be performed by Seamus Gethicker & Richie Richie Gregory in memory of our dear friend Timothy Duckworth
who passed away in May of 2019.

3:00 car show! A short walk back down from the Acme Organ Institute to the "CAR BARN" for the car show and awarding of trophies.
The Car show is open to any car 25 years and older.

Trophies awarded are:
1. Best of Show
2. Distance Winner
3. Oldest Car/Truck

Open consoles as always after the 1:30 main concert on the Compton, Acme 1, Mini-Reuter & Hammond organs.

6 p.m. Departure from Acme for the 47th Annual Seymour Oktoberfest in downtown Seymour, Indiana.
Traditional Oktoberfest food booths and rides at the Gala Midway!!!!

Seymour, Indiana has all the usual hotels at any budget.
